Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to traditional music, old boleros, as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves the operas and tangos along with the dramatic shows that she attends. When she was 16 years old, she started singing and studying the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began giving her a more intensive training in singing. The School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. When she was a student, and a young professional, she sang with various chamber groups as well as opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. When she moved into America, United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002 she relocated to Southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. In addition to being a local performer and instructor and instructor, her passion for arts and music keeps her active in a variety of projects. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft.
